Provide individualized, one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in a variety of subjects (K-16)
Help students with homework, exam preparation, and essay writing, all while keeping their panic levels to a minimum.
Customize lesson plans and teaching methods to suit each student's unique learning style, whether they're a visual learner, auditory learner, or tactile learner.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve academically (and possibly become their unofficial life coach) ;-)
Assist with study strategies, test-taking techniques, and time management skills to help students tackle their workload like pros.
Maintain detailed records of tutoring sessions and student progress—because "I swear I studied" just won't cut it.
Communicate regularly with students, colleagues, and admin staff to ensure everyone is on the same page and moving toward academic success.

Minimum requirements
Over the top interest in education and a strong academic background with a proven track record of success.(bonus points if you actually enjoyed calculus in college).
Proven experience (formal or informal) as a tutor, teacher, or educational wizard.
A superhero mentality minus the cape (unless you really want to wear one, we don’t judge) ready and willing to establish rapport and build trust with students.
Strong knowledge of the subject matter(s) you're tutoring—whether it's English literature, algebra or organic chemistry.
Ability to help students build confidence and independence in their learning process (and maybe convince them that studying can be fun).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to break down complex topics into bite-sized pieces.
Patience, empathy, and a knack for making learning fun (or at least less painful).
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
Flexibility to work during evenings or weekends—because learning doesn't always happen during office hours.
A TED Talk guru with excellent presentation skills that would make even Simon Sinek jealous.
